Maria Genco-Leon - President
Maria is the Records Department Team Leader for the national law firm McMillan Binch Mendelsohn LLP and has been working in the field of records management for the firm for nearly 20 years. Maria holds a certificate in the Archival Practices Program from George Brown College and graduated with distinction from the Records Management Program - Faculty of Information, at the University of Toronto. Throughout Maria's career, she has been involved in the process of improving the firm's archival management and is currently working on the development and implementation of a firm-wide Records Management Program combining both electronic and paper records.

Adele Pantusa - Meeting Chair and Elections
Adele Pantusa is Senior Legal Counsel for Hydro One Networks Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto and received a Bachelor of Laws Degree in 1990 from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Bar in 1995. She is currently enrolled in the Records Management Certificate Program at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Information.

George Sparrow - Treasurer
As principal and founder of DATANET, George Sparrow has 23 years of experience in the information technology field. Before incorporating DATANET, George supported marketing and sales efforts with CSI (Currency Systems International) as Director of International Marketing with responsibility for Spain, Portugal, England, Canada, Mexico Central and South America as well as Southeast Asia. George was responsible for marketing CSI's currency automation technology platform used by central banks. Unisys Canada moved George and his family from Alberta to Ontario 23 years ago, at Unisys George was responsible to marketing and support of their imaging and remittance processing initiatives nationally. George Sparrow has been an active member of the document and cheque imaging community since the incorporation of DATANET in 1997. He resides in Toronto, Ontario.

Siān Madsen - Secretary
Siān Madsen, M.A. MAS, is Manager of Archives at Hudson's Bay Company. She has worked in the archives and records management fields in local government, energy and the retail sector. Sian has also been an active member of the records management and archival professional associations, serving on the Board of Directors for the Calgary chapter of ARMA and for the Archives Association of Ontario, as well as several industry specific committees. She holds an M.A. in History from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Archival Studies from the University of British Columbia.

Mohammed Ahmad - Programs
Mohammad holds a master's degree (MLISc) in Library and Information Sciences with distinction as a University Gold Medalist (highest academic distinction) from the University of Peshawar; a Bachelor of Library and Information Sciences from the same university; a Bachelor of Sciences from the University of Punjab and a Bachelor of Education from the Allama Iqbal Open University in Islamabad. He is currently in his final year as a student at the Faculty of Information (iSchool), University of Toronto. He expects to graduate in April 2010 with a master's degree in Records Management, Library and Information Sciences (MISt). Among his achievements at the Faculty of Information is to serve as Class Representative and Student Member of the Admissions Committee.

Trudi Wright - Director of Communications
Trudi Wright, MLIS , MA , is a Business Management Consultant with the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario . She has worked as a consultant and project manager in archives and records management in non-government organization, academic institutions and private organizations. Trudi has also been an active member of the industry professional associations, including the Association of Canadian Archivists and Archives Association of Ontario, as well as several government-specific initiatives. She holds an MA in History from the University of Guelph , and a Master of Library and Information Studies (Archives and Records Management) from McGill University.

Yvonne Perry-White - Marketing
Yvonne has been involved in the RIM industry since joining Iron Mountain (then Pierce Leahy) in 1998, and has held various positions with that employer over the years, including Records Administrator for Canada . She is currently a Project Manager for Iron Mountain 's Document Management Solutions group. Yvonne has been involved with the Toronto chapter of ARMA since 1999 and has served on the Board in various portfolios, including Communications, Programs, Treasury and Presidency. She is happy to be back and looks forward to renewing her involvement with the Board of Directors.

Helen Hobson - Newsletter Editor
Helen has over 20 years experience in the field of Records and Information Management. Her private sector experience includes File Bank, Alliance Atlantis, Tab Canada - Consulting. While with the public sector, she worked for the Liquor Control Board (LCBO), and is currently with the City of Toronto. After graduating from George Brown College with Records Management Certification, she became an ARMA member and shortly thereafter decided to lend a hand on the newsletter as Advertising Coordinator and Associate Editor. Each year she volunteered on organization committees for the ARMA Annual Educational Seminars. Helen has held two Board positions: Director of Public Relations; and Recruitment Director. She took on the challenge of the Hospitality Chair for the ARMA International Conference.

Helen has volunteered in her community where she held the position of V.P. of External Affairs with the St. Lawrence Neighbourhood Association (SLA); as well, she participated on the committee for their annual community picnic. Helen is an avid boater and a recent graduate of the Power Squadron courses and has offered herself to volunteering with the Centennial Power Squadron.

George Roberts has been involved with electronic document & records management technology since 2000 in a variety of capacities primarily geared towards business development, marketing and project management. Mr. Roberts holds a chemical engineering degree from the University of Waterloo, an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario.

Mark Grysiuk - Member At Large
Mark Anthony Grysiuk is currently a Senior Compliance Analyst and Records Coordinator for one of North America's largest insurers. He is also actively involved in serveral SharePoint implementations.

Mark has been in the field of Information Management for over ten years, working as a technical writer and documentation specialist for clients such as Rogers Business Solutions, John Hancock Retirement Plan Services and the Ministry of Public Safety and Security. He has a Technical Communication certificate from George Brown College and a Diploma in Recording Arts Management from the Harris Institute for the Arts. Prior to working in the IM field, Mark spent over ten years in the music industry.
